May 18 : Amitabh Bachchan informed his fans and followers that his office, Janak, has been flooded after Cyclone Tauktae hit Mumbai on Monday. While the megastar prayed for all, for their safety and protection, he took to his blog and revealed about his office being affected by the cyclone.

Sharing the impact of the cyclone, the megastar revealed in his blog,  “There is an eerie silence in the midst of the cyclone .. the pounding and the lashing rains all day .. trees fell, leakages all over , flooding in the vulnerable Janak Office .. impromptu plastic cover sheets still in prep for the heavy Monsoon rain, ripped apart .. sheds and shelters for some staff blown away.”

The Piku star also shared how his staff members were quick to control the situation. Calling them “simply amazing in such conditions”, Big B said that they continued their work while dripping in the rain. The actor also revealed that he offered them clothes from his wardrobe. “And now they proudly move about as Chelsea and Jaipur Pink Panther supporters .. !!! in their team shirts and T’s .. some afloat in them and some squeezing their shape into them ..” the superstar joked

Taking to his Twitter account, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “The winds and the rain of Cyclone Tauktae lashes us with intense ferocity .. my prayers for all to be safe and protected.” 

Recently, Big B revealed that he has contributed almost Rs. 15 crore for COVID relief. The megastar said that he shared the details of his contributions not to get praise but to reveal that his promises to help amidst the pandemic were not fake. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently working on his forthcoming film Goodbye. In the film, the megastar will share screen space with veteran actress Neena Gupta for the first time in his acting career. Big B will soon be seen on the small screen with Kaun Banega Crorepati season 13. His films Chehre alongside Emraan Hashmi, and Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt as well as Jhund are in the pipeline.
