June 22 : While Tiger Shroff will resume work with Heropanti 2, he is also gearing up for his forthcoming film Ganapath as the makers have decided to commence shoot. The Vikas Bahl directorial is produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani. Tiger will be seen playing a boxer in the sports-drama.
Ganapath, which also stars Kriti Sanon as the female lead, couldn’t go on the floors earlier owning to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. The film was slated to commence shoot from end of last year. Now the makers of the film have reportedly decided to commence the film in Mumbai on September 20. Later, the film will also be shot in London and some Eastern European countries. In February this year, Tiger took to social media and announced about Kriti being a part of the film. “Khatam hua intezaar. @kritisanon… Super excited to work with this bundle of talent again,” the actor had written.
Kriti and Tiger will share screen space once again after the 2014 film Heropanti, which marked their Bollywood debuts. Sharing the news of her association with the film, the actress wrote on social media, "Meet Jassi! Super duper excited for this one! Teaming up once again with my very special Tiger Shroff. Can't wait for the shoot to begin. Let's kill it." Ganapath is touted to be a high octane action thriller, slated to release in 2022.
Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff will resume shooting for Heropanti 2 in July along with Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The Baaghi actor will head to Russia next month for the shoot. Some major action sequences and a song will be shot in Moscow and St Petersburg.
Besides Heropanti 2 and Ganapath, Tiger will also be seen in the Hindi remake of Rambo. Kriti Sanon will also be seen in Bhediya with Varun Dhawan, Bachchan Pandey with Akshay Kumar, and Adipurush with Prabhas.
