Late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has also been featured in the film, and was seen giving his famous speech, in which he said, "Hum shanti ki raksha ke liye shakti ka pradarshan karna jaante hain (We can show our strength to protect our peace)."

The film captures the Kargil War, which was fought in 1999 between India and Pakistan between May and July. War was declared as Pakistani troops and terrorists from across the border infiltrated into India.
