July 29 : Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Nanda Naveli may have denied to join Bollywood, but she is no less popular on social media than any actor. She gets rave reviews on her posts—from fans to her friends and family members. On one such post, one of her fans complimented her and asked her to join Bollywood.
Navya took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture of herself, where she opted for a pink T-shirt and matching pants. While She didn’t caption the picture, photographer Rohan Shrestha suggested that the “Caption is awe-inspiring.” Responding to him, Navya wrote,“Just like me.” Her besties Khushi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor took to the comments section and showered her picture with heart emojis. Former Indian Idol 12 contestant Sawai Bhatt wrote, “Namaste mam” to which Navya responded with a folded hands emoji.

Shweta Bachchan’s daughter Navya has expressed on several occasions that she would not join Bollywood like her grandparents Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, and uncle Abhishek Bachchan. Instead she would join her father’s business. Shweta Bachchan had also said in an interview that she doesn’t want her family to get into showbiz as she sees how much her brother and father face trolls. However, Shweta’s son Agstya Nanda has reportedly expressed his desire to join Bollywood.
In an earlier interview, Navya said she wants to join the family business, Escorts. “I would be the fourth generation of the family taking the lead—and the first woman. It is a great sense of pride for me to be carrying forward this incredible legacy left behind by my great-grandfather HP Nanda.” Navya has also co-founded Aara Health, a women-centric health tech company that focuses on creating scientifically backed healthcare products for women.
