August 03 : To keep the momentum alive, the makers of Bhuj: The Pride of India released the film’s second trailer today. The first trailer of the film was released on July 13. The Ajay Devgn-starrer will start streaming on Disney+Hotstar on August 13, a few days before Independence Day. The second trailer is particularly made to evoke patriotism in the viewers.
The new trailer majorly focuses on war sequences with blasts, combat, hostility, aerial strikes, destruction, and sacrifices holding the patriotism flat high. The trailer showcases Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, played by Ajay Devgn, who inspires people by mouthing heavy patriotic dialogues. It reveals how the Indian force is full of patriotism and valour despite their sacrifices to stop the aggression of the Pakistan army.
Helmed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, Bhuj: The Pride of India, is set in the backdrop of the India-Pakistan War of 1971. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi and Sharad Kelkar. Ajay plays Indian Air Force Squadron leader Vijay Karnik, who, along with 300 women from a local village in Madhapar, rebuilt the IAF airbase at Bhuj. The film is presented by T-Series and Ajay Devgn Films. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Ginny Khanuja, Vajir Singh, and Bunny Sanghavi. The film has been written by Abhishek Dudhaiya, Raman Kumar, Ritesh Shah, and Pooja Bhavoria.
The film’s first trailer gave us a sneak peek into the war sequences that will form the mainstay of the film. The new trailer, which is high on drama and patriotism, shows Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha as local villagers who come together to help the Indian soldiers rebuilt the airbase. Sharad Kelkar and Ammy Virk can be seen as part of the army.
