September 14 : Pratik Gandhi is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Raavan Leela. Recently, the makers had dropped the trailer of the film, which received immense appreciation and garnered over 10 million views within just three days. But now, the makers have decided to change the title of the film.
Raavan Leela will now be called Bhavai. The makers have issued a statement and announced the change of title. The title of the film has been changed at the last moment to respect religious sentiments of the people of the country and request of the audience.
In a statement, director Hardik Gajjar said, "I am happy to honour the wishes of my stakeholders and audience. The love we have received for the film thus far is the resonance of the fact that good cinema is the need of the hour. Cinema is a medium meant to entertain people and so is our film. Audiences have showered Pratik with love for his work and we hope that this film will only see it multiply. It's a film that is close to our hearts and we are confident that audiences will love it with all their hearts too".
Helmed by Hardik Gajjar, Bhavai stars Pratik Gandhi, Aindrita Ray, Rajendra Gupta, Rajesh Sharma, and Abhimanyu Singh in pivotal roles. The musical drama will hit cinemas on October 1, 2021. The film is presented by Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios), and produced by Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Aksshay Jayantilal Gada, Parth Gajjar, and Hardik Gajjar in association with Backbencher Pictures.
The trailer, dropped last week, hinted at a hard-hitting film that questions the hypocrisy and double standards of the society regarding religion, and how it is always used by politicians and leaders to win over people. Pratik’s performance as Raja Ram Joshi, an enthusiastic village actor, will leave everyone mesmerised in Bhavai.
