September 15 : Tabu is likely to reunite with filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj for his next project. The actress will reportedly join the filmmaker in his next directorial project. Tabu and Vishal have earlier collaborated in Maqbool and Haider.
Vishal Bhardwaj is reportedly set to direct an action drama, for which he has brought on board his favourite actress Tabu. It is also reported that Tabu, who is busy with the shoot of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, has given her nod to the venture after hearing the script. The new project will mark the third collaboration between Tabu and Vishal. Reportedly, Ali Fazal has also been roped in to play the male lead in the film. An official announcement is yet to come.
Vishal Bhardwaj’s last directorial venture was Pataakha in 2018 with Radhika Madan, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover in the lead roles.
Interestingly, Tabu also stars as one of the leads in Vishal Bharadwaj’s son Aasmaan Bhardwaj’s directorial debut film Kuttey. The thriller also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Konkona Sen Sharma, Arjun Kapoor, Kumud Mishra, Radhika Madan and Shardul Bhardwaj. The film is co-produced by Luv Ranjan, Vishal Bhardwaj, Ankur Garg and Rekha Bhardwaj under the banner of Luv Films and Vishal Bhardwaj Films, and presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.
The film’s music has been composed by Vishal Bhardwaj, and Gulzar has penned the lyrics. Written by Aasmaan and Vishal, Kuttey is currently in pre-production. It will go on floors later this year.
