October 13 : Sidharth Malhotra is currently basking in the success of Shershaah, and the appreciation he has been receiving from all quarters. The film, Param Vir Chakra awardee Captain Vikram Batra’s biopic, was released on Amazon Prime Video on August 12. Since the film's release, Sidharth and his co-star Kiara Advani have been receiving a lot of love from the viewers and fans, who are showering their love for the actors through sketches, Instagram reels of their favourite scenes from the film, and much more.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Sidharth shared a video clip, wherein he can be seen enacting a Shershah scene that featured Kiara Advani, but in the video, a “little Kiara” can be seen replacing the actress and enacting her scene with Siddharth. The little girl named Shivani, who is a massive fan of Sidharth and Kiara, can be seen lip-syncing to Kiara’s dialogues. Shivani had earlier enacted Kiara’s role in the funeral scene from the film and her video went viral on the internet. Sharing the new video, Sidharth wrote, “Meet little Kiara as dimple ️. #shershaahreels @shivani.j.khanna #shershaah” Kiara immediately reacted to the video by dropping a heart and awestruck emojis in the comments section.

Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, which produced Shershaah, took to the comments section and wrote, “Uff, yeh dil maange more of this duo.” Dharma team referred to the popular line “yeh dil maange more”, which was said by the Kargil hero Captain Vikram Batra.

In Shershaah, while Sidharth played Captain Vikram Batra, Kiara played late Vikram Batra’s fiancee Dimple Cheema. Dimple has not got married after Vikram was martyred in the 1999 Kargil war. Captain Vikram Batra lost his life fighting for the country in the Kargil War of 1999, 22 years ago.

Helmed by Vishnu Varadhan and jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment, Shershaah has created waves on social media ever since it was released. The film became the highest-rated Hindi movie on IMDb with a rating of 8.8. Sidharth had shared the update on his social media and wrote, “Feeling on the #Top of the world, literally Thank you to everyone for making this happen. This is for all of you who are showering love and support for #Shershaah and making it so special and memorable for me.”
