November 25 : Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan has shared a post on Wednesday evening, first time after she celebrated her brother Aryan Khan’s bail. Suhana, who was studying in New York, seems to be leaving the US city and returning to Mumbai to her family.
Suhana was studying filming at the New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Taking to her Instagram handle, she shared a black and white picture of a truck standing under a tall building with the lines written on it—“Don’t worry. Even if you leave New York, you will always be a New Yorker,”. While she skipped a caption to the post, she dropped a broken heart emoji.
Many of Suhana’s friends reacted to the post and wished her for her future. “You’re going to do amazing things,” a friend wrote, while another wrote, “Good luck girl!” Yet another friend was heartbroken and wrote, “I refuse to accept this,” adding a crying emoji to the comment.
Suhana was studying in New York since 2019. After spending most of 2020 in Mumbai with her family due to Covid-19 lockdown, Suhana had returned to New York City and was stationed there for the past few months. She regularly shared posts from New York and also shared pictures from her birthday celebrations earlier this year. After Aryan’s arrest, she stopped sharing posts. She however shared posts to mark her parents’ birthdays and Aryan’s bail.
Earlier, Suhana regularly shared glimpses of her cool New York life, partying with friends and also stunning views from her apartment. Before shifting to New York, Suhana studied in Ardingly College in England, where she had received an award for her contribution to drama.
Suhana will reportedly join Bollywood and follow her father’s career. While in New York, Suhana had starred in a short film titled The Grey Part of Blue and also in the Romeo and Juliet play. Earlier Shah Rukh Khan had said in an interview that Suhana wants to act but he wants her to complete her education first.
She is rumoured to be debuting with director Zoya Akhtar’s recently announced live-action Archies’ adaptation for Netflix.
