May 14 : The Bachchans are feeling very proud today as their next generation is stepping into the acting world. After Amitabh Bachhan congratulated grandson Agastya Nanda as he is all set to debut in Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix film The Archies, it is now uncle Abhishek Bachchan who cheered him.
Zoya Akhtar on Saturday revealed the first look of the much-anticipated film Archies. She shared a teaser video and a poster of the Netflix film on her Instagram handle. The first look poster featured the lead characters in their 1960s’ avatars. The characters have been played by Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Mihir Ahuja, Dot, and Vedang Raina. The Archies will stream on Netflix in 2023.
Abhishek Bachchan shared the teaser of The Archies and expressed his excitement about Agastya’s big debut. “We all grew up reading Archies!!! How amazing that now we have our very own version. Thank you @zoieakhtar And such an emotional moment for me personally. The next generation of actors! God bless you all. Work hard, stay focussed, stay humble and ever appreciative of all the love you all are about to receive. Agastya, my nephew, you make us all so proud. Love you! Now, enough said…. Get to work!!!” he wrote.
After Suhana Khan got all the love and support from mom Gauri Khan and dad Shah Rukh Khan, now her big brother Aryan Khan cheered her. Taking to his Instagram account, Aryan shared the first look poster of The Archies on his Instagram stories and wished luck to Suhana. He wrote, “Best of luck baby sister! Go kick some ass. Teaser looks awesome. Everyone looks great. All of you will kill it”.
