May 24 : Adaptation of 2011 French film Sleepless Night titled Bloody Daddy starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead role, the first official trailer for the same is out.
Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar who co-wrote the film with Aditya Basu and Siddharth–Garima, and produced by Jio Studios. The film also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ankur Bhatia and Vivan Bhatena.
An NCB officer (Shahid Kapoor) and his team busts down a narcotics scam, which leads the drug lord to kidnap the NCB's officer's son in exchange for retrieving a bag of cocaine. With no other option, the NCB officer agrees to retrieve the bag from the NCB headquarters, where he soon uncovers some of the moles in the NCB and earns the suspicions of his colleagues.
Bloody Daddy is scheduled to be released on 9 June 2023 on JioCinema.
