Mumbai, Oct 1 : Megastar Amitabh Bachchan attended the GQ awards despite high fever.

"Fever! No not the Elvis number... Me suffering with about 101 degrees... But on the road to GQ Awards... a commitment," Amitabh tweeted.

However, he left the event early on Sunday.

"The fever buzz... walking about like a zombie, but Che Kurrien head of GQ, India shows great compassion and relieves me early," he tweeted.

Composer duo Salim Merchant and Suleiman Merchant are excited as they will give a glimpse of their forthcoming concert - The Bollywood Musical - at the Global Indian Music Academy (GIMA) awards Monday.

"It's really a treat to perform with a full orchestra and choir. This also marks the beginning of project-Bollywood Musical," Salim tweeted.

A Saregama initiative, the series of concerts will take place at historical venues all over the country from this month. Some of the songs that will be played in the concerts are Lata Mangeshkar's "Lag jaa gale" and Rahul Dev Burman's "Tere bina zindagi".


Divya Dutta's wine date with mom

Actress Divya Dutta took time out of her shooting schedule to take her mother on a wine date.

"Just wrapped shoot! Me and mom on a wine date tonite! She's my cutiepie! Khoob jamegi jaab mil baithenge do yaar (sic)," Divya tweeted Sunday night.
