June 19 : As per the Purnimanta Hindu calendar, Ashadha month has started on June 18, 2019 and will end on July 16, 2019. This is a special month when several major festivals will be celebrated across India. During the month of Ashadha, people follow many rituals so that their lives can improve for the better.

June 18 - Krishna Pradipada - Ashadha Month Begins

June 20 - Krishna Chaturthi - Sankashti Chaturthi

June 29 - Krishna Ekadashi - Yogini ekadashi

July 3 - Shukla Pradipada - Ashada Gupta Navratri begins

July 4 - Shukla Dwitiya - Puri Rath Yatra

July 6 - Shukla Chaturdhi - Vinayaka Chaturthi Vrat

July 10: Shukla Navami - Ashadha Gupta Navratri ends

July 12: Shukla Ekadashi- Devshayani ekadashi

July 16: Shukla Purnima- Guru Purnima and Vyasa Puja

Out of these, Guru Purnima is the most revered festival by Hindus. A day when people pay their respects and remember their Gurus or teachers.
