June 25 : For all faithful Hindus, Ekadashi holds a significant place in their lives. As per the Hindu calendar, in the Ashadha month, the powerful Yogini Ekadashi will be observed on June 29, 2019. This particular religious day is observed to protect a human being from worldly curses and problems. If so, we need to pray for the special blessings of Lord Vishnu. For this, a true believer needs to know the auspicious time and date of Vrat or fast before the blessed Yogini Ekadashi.
The Time and Tithi of Yogini Ekadashi Vrat 2019
A Hindu should begin the fasting from dashami tithi(the tenth day of the Hindu calendar) until dwadashi tithi (the twelfth day of the Hindu calendar). As per the schedule, the Yogini Ekadashi Vrat will have to take place in the following pattern:
The Krishna Paksha Dashami Tithi will begin on Jun 27, 5:44 am and will end on Jun 28, 6:36 am.
The Krishna Paksha Dwadashi Tithi will begin on Jun 29, 6:45 am and will end on Jun 30, 6:11 am.
You can check your Panchang as per your location, as timings may differ slightly .
Kindly note that the fasting will start from the previous night of the Yogini Ekadashi (which is the Dashami Tithi) and this will have to come to a close as per the Dwadashi Tithi. So, essentially, a person who fasts will have to undertake the vrat for 36 hours approximately.
