September 20 : Daisy Shah, a model, dancer and film actress, was spotted at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2019 function, which was considered as the Indian Oscars by Bollywood. The gala night was graced by Bollywood stars as well the newcomers who are still trying their luck in the industry.
Daisy, who was mostly seen in Bollywood films as a co-dancer or in special appearances, wore a black shimmery dress at the gala night. She took to her Instagram handle and shared a number of her pictures in the same attire. The starry night was all about fashion and most of the celebrities have stunned us with their sartorial choices. However, fashion critics did not find Daisy’s outfit to be appealing.
Shah donned a glittering black gown with waterfall hem from Moes Shour. It featured a contrasting silver lining and the whole outfit gave a metallic look. She paired her outfit with a pair of black pumps, and completed her look with open wavy hair with no accessories.
Daisy, who was seen in Race 3 and Hate Story 3, worked as an assistant to choreographer Ganesh Acharya. She debuted in the 2010 action thriller Vandae Maatharam in a special appearance. However, her breakthrough role was played in the 2011 Kannada film Bodyguard.
Beside her acting career, Daisy added another feather to her cap. Recently, she received a shooting licence from the National Rifle Association of India. She revealed that she wanted to become a professional shooter.
Daisy was congratulated and encouraged by Salman Khan, who worked with her in Jai Ho. Salman shared her picture on his Instagram account and captioned, “Congrats on becoming aspiring shot yet again! Now thoda medal ko target karo. @shahdaisy”
