Normal services resumed on the line around two hours later after intervention by officials of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

"Normal service has resumed. Please allow some extra time for the bunching of trains to clear," DMRC tweeted at 4:53 p.m.
