November 18 : Ayushmann Khurrana, who is currently basking in the glory of the success of his latest release Bala, took to his instagram handle and shared a throwback picture of his brother and actor Aparshakti Khurana. Following his brother’s footsteps, Aparshakti has also ventured into Bollywood and has already made a place of his own.
The Bala actor posted an adorable picture from Aparshakti’s childhood, and wished him on his birthday today. In the picture, the little Aparshakti is seen mimicking veteran actor Raj Kapoor of Shri 420, in the popular song Mera joota hai jaapaani. Ayushmann captioned the picture very sweetly as, “Happy bday @aparshakti_khurana. You’re the world’s best brother. And I wanted to show this picture of yours to the world, where you are trying to mimic Raj Kapoor saab of Shri 420. (Mera joota hai jaapaani).”
Aparshakti immediately replied in an equally sweet way. “Thank you so much Ayush bhaiyaaaaa. I must tell everyone that I was just trying to follow your footsteps. I saw Raj Kapoor Saab through your eyes. I was a little kid when I first saw you mimicking Raj Kapoor Saab, later I saw his films. Thanks for always unconditionally blessing me.”
Aparshakti is currently shooting for his upcoming film in Ludhiana. His wife Akriti Khurana will visit him at the shoot location to wish the actor. Ayushmann’s wife Tahira Kashyap also wished him on his birthday.
On the work front, while Ayushmann will be seen in Gulabo Sitabo and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Aparshakti was recently seen in Kanpuriye, which narrates the struggles of three small town boys, who are chasing big dreams. Aparshakti will next be seen in Mudassar Aziz's Pati Patni Aur Woh, which is scheduled to release on December 6.
