November 21 : Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who took a long sabbatical from her acting career, made a comeback with Sanjay Gupta's drama-thriller Jazbaa, which unfortunately couldn’t leave a mark. The actress was next seen in Omung Kumar's biographical drama Sarbjit, and Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016. She was last seen in Fanney Khan in 2018, which couldn’t leave a mark.
The actress who is not an avid social media user, celebrated her daughter Aaradhya’s eighth birthday recently, and shared pictures on her Instagram handle, giving a glimpse into her happiness. Today the actress took to her Instagram handle once again and shared pictures of another special day of her life. The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actress shared a post and wished her late father Krishnaraj Rai on his birthday. Rai captioned the post as, “Our Day of Smiles...LOVE YOU ETERNALLY Daddy-Ajjaa...HAPPY BIRTHDAY...ALWAYS...ALWAYS.” Krishnaraj Rai, who was a biologist in the Indian Army, passed away in 2017.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Aishwarya Rai will be next seen in Mani Ratnam’s flick Ponniyin Selvan. It was also reported that she may be seen in a romantic drama Gulab Jamun opposite her husband Abhishek Bachchan.
