December 09 : Vin Diesel has just wrapped Fast & Furious 9, which was the longest filming shoot of his career so far and now confirms the trailer release.
Actor Vin Diesel just took to his social media and hinted that the trailer will be out coming week. He wrote, “Happy Creative...Will announce this week when the trailer of Fast 9 will drop! All love.”
FF 9 is directed by Justin Lin and written by Chris Morgan and Daniel Casey. A sequel to 2017's The Fate of the Furious, it will be the tenth installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise and the ninth film in the main series.
The film also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, John Cena, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron and Michael Rooker.
Director Justin Lin announced last week that filming has wrapped on Fast & Furious 9, which is set for release on May 22, 2020. He shared, “It's an official #F9 Wrap! This is by far the most ambitious film of the series and I am forever grateful to our amazing crew from London, Edinburgh, Tbilisi (Georgia), Phuket & Krabi (Thailand), and Los Angeles”.
It is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on May 22, 2020 by Universal Pictures.
Apart from FF9, actor Vin Diesel is also prepping for his roles in forthcoming major franchises roles - including Xander Cage, Richard B. Riddick, Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Avatar 2 and Avatar 3 and his next release Bloodshot.
