December 10 : Priyanka Chopra Jonas will close the year 2019 with back to back honours. The diva who was honoured by UNICEF for her humanitarian contribution, was recognised at the 18th Marrakech International Film Festival recently for her contribution to cinema.
PeeCee was last seen in the Hindi movie The Sky is Pink, helmed by Shonali Bose, where Chopra shared screen space with Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Suresh Saraf. The actress also held the co-producer’s role for the first time in The Sky is Pink, has kick started the shooting for her next film The White Tiger in Delhi.
The diva took to her Instagram handle and shared a bunch of selfies from the sets. Notching her glam quotient higher, the Dil Dhadakne Do actress wore a dark yellow turtle-neck T-shirt and looked absolutely fresh and stunning with shimmering eyes and deep maroon lips. She styled her hair in an updo with some locks loosely lying on her face. She captioned the post as, “Glam time... #selfie #inbetweenshots #thewhitetiger 💄 @uday104 Hair @susanemmanuelhairstylist”
On the work front, the Quantico actress, who dabbled in both western and Indian films, recently lent her voice to the Disney animated hit film Frozen 2. In the Netflix original film The White Tiger, Priyanka features opposite Rajkummar Rao. Directed by Ramin Bahrani, the film is an adaptation of the Booker-prize winning novel of the same name by Aravind Adiga. The film will also feature debutante Adarsh Gourav. Netflix is producing the film in association with Mukul Deora, and Ramin Bahrani will write the screenplay. PeeCee will also serve as the executive producer. The actress will also star in Robert Rodriguez's superhero film We Can Be Heroes—another Netflix movie.
