Chepen: A Christ the Redeemer statue is seen at the top of the Stations of the Cross of Chepen's Mount, in the district and province of Chepen, of La Libertad department, Peru, on Nov. 22, 2014. The Stations of the Cross of Chepen's Mount is an sculptural religious work, considered as the second highest "Via Crucis" in America and the third in the world, with 777 steps of stone and cement, 14 stations and 22 natural-size statues made out of reinforced concrete, that represent each one of the episodes of the calvary route of Jesus of Nazareth, and at the top of the mount is found a Christ the Redeemer 11m-high statue.
