France: Exercise Garuda 2019, the Indo-French joint air drill, concluded in Mont-de-Marsan in France on Friday. The Indian Air Force had sent a large contingent of four Su-30 MKI fighters, an IL-78 mid-air refueller and two C-17 heavy lift aircraft. The IAF fighters flew along with French Rafale jets. IAF Vice Chief R.K.S Bhadauria flew in the final mission. The combination of Su-30 MKIs and Rafales, which IAF will fly in the coming years, was tried out during the joint drills. (Photos: IANS)
