Seoul: Roh Jae-cheon, spokesman for the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), briefs reporters in Seoul on June 8, 2017, on North Korea's missile launches earlier in the day. The JCS said the North fired several projectiles that appear to be short-range surface-to-ship cruise missiles that flew about 200 kilometers before falling in the East Sea. It is the fifth known missile launches by the North since South Korea's Moon Jae-in administration took office on May 10.
