KATHMANDU, Sept. 19, 2016 - Protesters from the Federal Alliance, a coalition of Madhes-based parties and other ethnic political parties and organizations tie black ribbon on forehead during a protest rally against the constitution on the country's first Constitution Day in Kathmandu, Nepal, Sept. 19, 2016. Nepal's Constitution 2072 was promulgated by former President Ram Baran Yadav through the Constituent Assembly. Madhes-based parties are still opposing the promulgation of the constitution as it was brought without addressing the rights and concerns of the Madhesis, indigenous nationalities, Muslims and the minorities.
