DUNEDIN, Feb. 25, 2019 - Photo realeased by the Royal Albatross Centre shows the first albatross chick for 2019 hatches in Taiaroa Head, Dunedin, New Zealand. Every year over 40 pairs of Northern Royal albatrosses nest and breed at the world's only mainland breeding colony at Taiaroa Head. By January this year, a total of 29 albatross chicks have hatched in the recent breeding season starting from September last year.
