Romanian voters went to the polls on Sunday to elect a new president out of 14 candidates. Polling stations across the country opened at 7:00 a.m. local time (0500 GMT), and is scheduled to close at 9:00 p.m. (1900 GMT). Overseas voting started on Friday for an unprecedented three-day voting session in the history of the country's presidential elections.
