The all -girl rock band Pragaash in Kashmir has quit singing after the Grand Mufti issued a fatwa terming singing as un-Islamic. The band Pragaash (morning light) comprising three Class 10 girls, gave their first live performance at Srinagars music festival, Battle of the Bands in December last year.
