NEW YORK, June 5, 2017 - Piano hobbyist Joe Borrello plays the piano, as the students from Claremont International High School who decorated the piano look on, during the opening event of Sing for Hope Pianos in New York, the United States, on June 5, 2017. Sing for Hope Pianos, an annual public arts project in New York, kicked off here on Monday. From June 5 to June 25, as a celebration of the work Sing for Hope does in communities year-round, 60 Sing for Hope Pianos will be placed in parks and public spaces in high traffic locations across all five boroughs in New York for everyone to play. After the public installation concludes on June 25, 50 of the 2017 Sing for Hope Pianos will be placed in permanent homes in New York City Schools.
