VANCOUVER, July 30, 2014 - A veteran attends the Afghanistan Memorial Vigil Commemoration Ceremony at Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver, Canada, July 29, 2014. The Afghanistan Memorial Vigil is a movable structure made up of 192 plaques representing Canadian soldiers, a diplomat, a defence contractor and a journalist who were killed during the Canadian mission in Afghanistan. 43 Americans who died under Canadian command are also represented. Originally located at Kandahar Air Field in Afghanistan, those plaques now exhibit across Canada till Nov. 12 this year.
