The 500-years-old Ganapati temple receiving Rs 175, honorarium since British-era at Ravivar Karana in Nasik. Madhavrao Peshwa recognised the temple in the 18th century that belongs to Lothe family. In the British era 1862, Queen Victoria granted the honorarium to recognised temples in the state and this old temple started receiving 17 pounds as honorarium. After Independence, the honorarium converted into rupees that became Rs 175.
