A delegation of Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) MLAs met Karnataka governor Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala at Raj Bhavan. While addressing media after the meeting, JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy said that they have sufficient numbers to form the government and they have submitted a letter of support signed by 117 MLAs to the governor. Kumaraswamy also said that JD(S) and Congress stand united and they are mulling legal options are meeting the governor. Meanwhile, Congress leader Ashok Gehlot said, ‘We will do everything possible to save the democracy’.
