In a massive seizure by IT dept in Tamil Nadu over 100 crore rupees have been recovered in cash which is suspected to be unaccounted and around 90-kg gold bullions during raids at various premises of a road construction firm. Around 20-22 offices were raided by income tax departments of Tamil Nadu. The raids are still on according to sources of IT dept where in the amount of unaccounted cash recovered is expected to increase. The raids are being conducted in Madurai and Chennai as well.
