In Uttarakhand's Tehri, forest officials recovered carcass of a leopard on Wednesday. The lifeless body of the animal was found on Ghansali Motor Marg of Tehri Garhwal district. Forest officials have reached the spot after getting the information. The leopard could have died after falling off a cliff, the forest officials guessed. The carcass of the animal has been shifted to veterinary hospital for post-mortem. Safety of leopards should be ensured since their population is dwindling fast. It is a real concern these days, since these animals are considered 'vulnerable' to extinction.
