Heavy rains lashed Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. The incessant rainfall led water level to rise and a flood like situation in different parts of the city. Heavy downpour has also affected maze in the region. A resident said, “This is the time when it rains the maximum and landslides occur, causing inconvenience to people. People with kutcha houses are badly affected by floods. Due to this water level in the rivers has gone up.” The officials have warned the people and issued an advisory.
