Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday reached Thiruvananthapuram to review the flood situation in Kerala. As many as 324 people have died due to floods and landslides in the state. Incessant rainfall caused havoc across the state in the past few days. The prime minister will undertake an aerial survey of the flood affected areas on Saturday. He was received by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Kerala Governor P Sathasivam and Union Tourism Minister KJ Alphons. Earlier, PM Modi attended funeral of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee who breathed his last breath on August 16.
