The Centre and state government carried out a massive rescue operation in flood-hit state Kerala. Incessant rainfall has made difficult to carry out relief and rescue operations in Kerala. Chengannur is worst-affected area as the MLA also made calls to local media asking for help. Around 60 Navy personnel have been deployed and 70 boats would be brought to Thiruvananthapuram and it will be later taken to Chengannur for rescue people who are trapped in deep water in the region.
