Contrary to the tall claims of development of the state government, villagers are forced to cross river on a temporary rope bridge in a village in Uttarakhand’s Kathgodam. A local said, “ the state government has approved a foot overbridge here but the legislator has cancelled the project. ” As soon as rain starts, people lost their connectivity with cities around. People have to risk their life as they are left with no options other than commuting on rope bridge. The villagers face such problems each year.
