Hyderabad Metro Rail's Amarpreet to LB Nagar stretch to be inaugurated on 24 September. The ceremony will be flagged off by Governor ESL Narasimhan at the Amarpreet station at 12:15 PM. The inauguration of the 16km long stretch will also mark the completion of Hyderabad Metro’s corridor 1, between LB Nagar and Miyapur. Out of the proposed 72km of track, 46km has now been completed making the Hyderabad Metro the longest after Delhi Metro. It has been reported that initially, the frequency of trains on the stretch will be one in every 5 minutes.
