India scored its biggest win against Pakistan in terms of wickets in one-day internationals, in Dubai on 23 September. After opting to bat first, Pakistan scored 237 runs for 7 wickets, setting a 238-run target for India. India chased down the target in just 39.3 overs, opening pair Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma chased down the target with 63 balls to spare. Dhawan’s innings ended at 114 off 100 balls and Sharma remained unbeaten at 111 off 119 balls. It was the 13th time Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma put on a 100-run partnership.
