Yet another case of mob lynching. A group of people allegedly lynched a 15-year-old boy in Tamil Nadu’s Karur district. The was lynched over suspicion that he had stolen a mobile phone, according to cops. The boy was in the habit of indulging in small thefts. He was brutally beaten up by a group of people who suspected him to be behind the theft of the mobile phone and Rs 3,000 cash. The boy’s mother who is a widow, fled the house when the furious mob came looking for her son. But as she returned, she found the boy dead with injury marks. A case has been registered.
