Torrential rains in Assam have wreck havoc in the state with at least 17 districts have been flooded and over 4 lakh people affected by the floods. Three people have lost their lives due to flooding in the state. Most of the rivers in the state including Brahmaputra are flowing above the danger mark. The Kaziranga National Park is also flooded and animals can be seen taking shelter on highlands. Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal reviews the flood situation in the state.
