The national capital is likely to experience a spell of light rains from today onwards. The India Meteorological Department also forecasts gusty winds ranging from 30-40 km/hr. IMD also indicate that thundery development could bring a cooling effect to the capital. According to regional meteorological department, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degree Celsius for the next five days. On Monday, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 41.2 degree Celsius at Palam. The air quality also remain in the 'poor' range.
