Dutch King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima witnessed the beauty of Kuttanad and backwaters in Kerala's Alappuzha on October 18. Additional chief secretary Vishwas Metha and district collector Adeela Abdulla received the Dutch royals and their team members. Education minister C Raveendranath was also welcomed by the authorities who was along with the Dutch Royals. The Dutch royals were welcomed to a houseboat by a group of young women in traditional outfits. District police chief K M Tomy and Alappuzha municipal chairman Ellickal Kunjumon were also present on the occasion.
