Two people have reportedly died due to heatwave conditions in Rajasthan’s Sikar and Banswara districts. Intense heatwave has gripped parts of India, including national capital. Temperature was recorded at 50.8 degree Celsius in Rajasthan’s Churu district, while maximum temperature hovered around 46 degree Celsius in Delhi. India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that intense heatwave will continue in Delhi and adjoining states for at least the next week. Severe heatwave conditions are persisting in several parts of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, UP, MP and Jharkhand.
