The slump may have reached its bottom with India's growth expanding at 4.7% in the quarter ended December 31, compared to the previous quarter. The economy had grown at an over six-year low of 4.5% in the previous quarter. In line with expectations, India's GDP growth rate bottomed out during the third quarter of the current fiscal and inched up to 4.7 per cent from 4.5 per cent reported for the previous quarter. India’s GDP growth in full FY19 had stood at 6.8 per cent.
