A special court in Delhi has allowed the Enforcement Directorate to arrest senior Congress leader and ex-Finance Minister P Chidambaram after interrogation in the INX Media case. The ED has formally arrested Chidambaram after court rejected the plea filed by his lawyers. This is the second time that the Congress leader has been arrested in the INX Media case. Earlier, he was booked and arrested by the CBI. The Enforcement Directorate custody means Chidambaram will move out of Tihar Jail and can be interrogated by ED for 14 days.
