BJP working president JP Nadda will take stock of the party's membership drive in Jharkhand today. Nadda will be in state capital Ranchi on July 13 and 14 and during the two days he will also hold discussions with party leaders to formulate strategy for the Assembly elections slated to be held later this year. The BJP has set a target of making 25 lakh new party members in Jharkhand during this membership drive which was launched nationwide on July 6 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Varanasi. At present, the BJP boasts of 11 crore memberships, but clearly, the party wants to achieve a significant addition to this number.
