In a major breakthrough, the Kolkata Police on Monday busted a massive terror module and arrested four terrorists with links to Bangladeshi terror organisation Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) and the Islamic State from West Bengal’s prime locations of Howrah and Sealdah. The state police unit’s Special Task Force nabbed two Bangladeshi nationals from the Sealdah railway station’s parking lot and one from the Howrah railway station area, all three having affiliations to the Neo-JMB and the Islamic State. The fourth terrorist is an Indian national who was also arrested from the Howrah railway station area. The three Bangladeshis have been identified as – Mohammed Jiaur Rahman, a resident of Chapai Nawabganj; Mamonur Rashid, a resident of Rampura; and Mohammed Sahin Alam, a resident of Rajshahi. The Indian terrorist has been identified as Robiul Islam from Birbhum district.
