In a big boost for Brand Modi, BJP has crossed the majority mark on its own in Lok Sabha election. In a big setback to UPA and Mahagathbandhan, PM Narendra Modi-led NDA is all set to form government at the Centre. BJP is on its own is leading on 277 seats out of the 542 seats, which went to poll. Counting of votes is currently underway. Almost all exit polls predicted a landslide win for Narendra Modi and return of NDA government at Centre in 2019 General election. According to exit polls, NDA is expected to get over 300 seats out of 542 seats which went to elections. 2019 polls also witnessed highest voter turnout of 67% in the history of General elections in India. Polling for the 2019 General election was held in seven phases between Apri 11 - May 19. Assembly elections were also held in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha and Sikkim simultaneously with the Lok Sabha election.
