Only five days are left for polling for the assembly elections, political parties are trying hard to reach out to electorate in Maharashtra. Political campaigns have intensified and leaders and workers are meeting people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address three rallies in Maharashtra. PM Modi will address rallies in Akola, Partur (Jalna district) and Panvel (Navi Mumbai) on October 16. There are 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra and there is a direct fight between BJP-Shiv Sena and Congress-NCP alliance. BJP is contesting on 164 and Shiv Sena on 124 seats. BJP has given some seats to smaller allies from its quota.
